Baishawan Beach

Baisha Bay Beach Resort is located between Lianshanbi and Cape Fukui, about 23 km on the No 2 Provincial Highway, at the coast of Temou Village in Shihmen Town. The one km stretch of sandy beaches is known for the clean water and vast variety of sea sports and activities such as swimming, fishing and etc.
Towards the west flank of the beach, is the gravel beach front named Lianshanbi. The grayish rocks are residuals from Mt Taton¡¦s volcanic eruption some 800 thousands years ago. The magma contains several minerals resulting in several black glittering spots on the surface.

The North Coast Tourist Information Center provides comprehensive information on the nearby Baisha Beach Resort and the Lianshanbi hiking traits. Also, it has audio video function hall which can takes up to 100 visitors. The lobby also displays scenic photographs of the area. Its logistic affords scenic view of the sea and the surrounding greenery.

By Car:

1) Sun Yat-sen Freeway →leave at Jinshan/Badu interchange →Provincial Highway No.2 (in the direction of Jinshan) →Baisha Bay.

2) Second Northern Freeway →leave at Keelung/Wanli interchange →Provincial Highway No.2 (in the direction of Wanli) →Baisha Bay.

3) Yangminshan-Jinshan Highway →Jinshan →Provincial Highway No.2 (west bound) →Baisha Bay.

4) Danshui →Provincial Highway No.2 (east bound) →Baisha Bay.

5) Keelung →Provincial Highway No.2 (west bound) →Baisha Bay.

6) Nankang →New Provincial Highway No.5 →Sijhih →Cidu →Provincial Highway No.2 →Baisha Bay.



Public

By THSR:

Take the THSR to Taipei Station, transfer to the MRT and bus.

By Bus:
1) Take express bus( bound for Jinshan Youth Activity Center) of Kuo-Kuang Co. at its North Station of Taipei City. Bus comes every 20 minutes. Then take express bus( bound for Danshui ) of Keelung Co. or Danshui Co. to Baisha Bay.

2) Take express bus( bound for Danshui ) of Keelung Co. or Danshui Co. at the Keelung station ( near Keelung Railway Station) to Baisha Bay. Bus comes every 30 minutes.

3) Take express bus( bound for Keelung ) of Keelung Co. or Danshui Co. at the Danshui station ( near Danshui MRT Station) to Baisha Bay. Bus comes every 30 minutes.
