Although the hotspring resources of Taoyuan County are not as plentiful as those in Taipei Tatun Volcanic Region, there are three natural hotsprings in Fusing Township that connect to Taipei County. Over there, you can enjoy bathing in the hotsprings.
There are three hotsprings in Fusing Village of Taoyuan County. One is the Ronghua Spring at a sea level of about 400 meters above the sea level, and at a gap of 150 meters with the roads. The Ronghua Spring is a weak alkali carbonated hotspring, with water at 65℃. However, when the Ronghua Dam was completed, the spring disappeared under the dam.
The Sihleng Spring is located between Taoyuan County and Yilan County. It is a natural hotspring. In its early period, it was not developed, so it took a long time to walk there, in order to bathe in the hotsprings. In recent years, due to the development of tourism, it has been developed. It is also weakly alkaline and carbonated, at a temperature of 65C.
Finally, there is the Sinsing Hotspring. It is the spring that was developed earliest . In the early years, it was used by the aboriginals, and later by other people. In recent years, it has been developed for tourism. Its water quality is like that of the other two hotsprings. But because of the influx of cold springs from rivers, its temperature is 54 ℃. Another feature of the spring is that its water level is different every year, because typhoons sometimes change the routes of rivers.
