●Open Hours
The museum’s opening hours are 10 am to 6 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays, except on public holidays or special events or exhibitions organized by the Nanhai Cultural Area, when it is open as usual.
  Because working people and students are unable to visit the museum during the daytime, as an expansion of its services, the museum in 2004 especially established Museum by Lantern, opening the exhibition galleries to the public from 6.30 to 8.30 pm, every Wednesday.

●Tickets
The full adult ticket cost NT$20 ,
while the concessionary ticket costs NT$10.

Prices for admission to special exhibitions vary, depending on the nature of those exhibitions. For detailed information about tickets for special exhibitions, please refer to the module on the museum’s special exhibitions.

●Tours
In order to enhance the audience’s understanding of historical relics, apart from the tours providing Mandarin commentaries, we also provide commentaries in English, Japanese , French ,etc.. For large-scale exhibitions, we are flexible about increasing the number of guided tours.

(1) Tours at fixed times: English 3:00 p.m. Mandarin 10:30 a.m.

(2) Group tours: Apply in writing or by telephone to the information desk (schools at all levels participating in the course of delivering their curriculum are, without exception, entitled to free admission). The museum is already providing an Internet application service. If you wish to apply on the Internet, please note:
• Please go to Museum exhibitions, select the exhibition for which you wish to book a tour, and click on I want to book
• For groups of more than 20 people, each tour is limited to a maximum of 40. Please book at least seven days before the day of your tour.
• Once you have booked a tour, and purchased an admission ticket, you may enter the museum on the day of the tour and at the time for which the tour is booked, without having to queue up.
• On-line tour booking is only available for Chinese-language tours. For English-language tours, please book in writing one week in advance.

(3)Audio guides: Audio guides (in Mandarin , English and Taiwanese ) on the Comprehensive Exhibition of Chinese Historical Relics are available free of charge. Anybody who can provide identity documents showing a Taiwan Identity Card number may take advantage of the free audio guide services. These include wheelchairs, walking sticks , umbrellas , pushchairs, magnifying glasses ,etc..

(4)Wireless guide: The museum is developing a comprehensive wireless tour system that will integrate wireless transmission and PDA multi-media. Apart from being available for visitors attending exhibitions at the museum, this will also further promote Internet technology.
