Cosy room with double bed (need to supply own bedding), beside tables with drawers, built in wardrobe with drawers, small desk/vanity table, stool, large mirror, one fan, openable window to outside (morning sun). Room size: 77 SqFt = roughly 2.4 metres by 3 metres.
Own bathroom including toilet, basin, mirror, shower head. Shared large kitchen (two gas stove tops, a toaster oven and big fridge/freezer) and open-plan living space including small enclosed balcony with teensy garden. Wireless Internet access.
Apartment is located on the 4th floor of a large living complex near the corner of Daya and Zhongming Roads. Gym, rooftop garden, even a bar! Two drycleaners/laundrettes in complex who can do your laundry. Plenty of street parking available for scooter/motorbike/bicycle or you can use our secure car park if you have a car (we don't use it).
Within walking distance of National Museum of Natural Science and Botanical Gardens, swimming pool (summer only), tennis courts, numerous convenience stores, supermarket, traditional afternoon market (great for fresh veges!), Hankou Road, Chinghai Road and Beiping Road restaurants and German-style beer brewery (Reichburg). Close to Gongyi and Meicun Roads and an easy scooter ride to anywhere else in the city.
Sharing with easy-going, music-loving, married couple in their 30s (just) who have been living in Taiwan for 2.5 years, he is an English teacher and she is an editor, both from New Zealand, although lived in Melbourne, Australia, for 3 years before coming to Taiwan.
No smoking inside or on balcony. Room best for one person (male or female OK), but can negotiate price for couple. Rent is NT$6,000 per month, includes all bills. 2 months deposit required. No air conditioner in room so would suit person looking for short/medium term accommodation over autumn/winter/spring period (6-8 months).
