Wandering through the avenues and boulevards, visitors will come upon a couple the city's famous Opera Houses or Thi Sach - a densely-populated street with sidewalk seating offering some of the most delicious cuisine in the city. An active nightlife awakens each evening in this modern city, and internet cafes abound, but underneath it all lays a culture steeped in a very rich history. Stretching in all directions is a landscape spotted with ancient pagodas, palaces, and temples. Our TEFL school in Vietnam is located in Ho Chi Minh City. Through this program, you will live in Ho Chi Minh City, the nation's capitol, and join a bustling population of more than 6.5 million people.

With advanced notice, housing accommodations for participants. Most accommodations are available within a 5 minutes' walk of the TEFL school. Many accommodations vary in prices - starting $300 USD per month. Local Common Vietnamese cuisine includes: com (boiled and/or grilled rice), banh chung (sticky rice cakes), gio lua (lean pork pie), pho (Noodles), cha-ca (grilled minced fish), banh cuon (rice/flour steamed rolls), bun (rice vermicelli), and mien (vermicelli made of cassava). |
